Representation:
MSD is the voice of the medical profession in our state legislature and represents physicians before various regulatory agencies. We represent our membership on governmental committees and commissions pertaining to important topics such as medical liability reform, mental health access, vaccine distribution, and workers compensation.
Continuing Medical Education (CME):
MSD is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and hosts and sponsors many educational activities designed to meet the needs of Delaware’s physicians and other healthcare professionals. The Medical Society is recognized by the Delaware Board of Medical Practice as an official repository of physician CME credit. Members who register for the transcript repository service may forward documentation of AMA PRA Category 1credit™ earned and will be provided transcripts annually and upon request at any time.
